Update September 27th at 15:00 CEST:
Nike confirmed that the release date for Europe is set for next week Friday, October 6th. As mentioned below, there won't be a release on the SNKRS app but only at select skateshops across Europe.
One of the most hyped releases of 2023 is the Born and Raised x Nike SB Dunk Low 'One Block at a Time'. The release date of July 21st was pulled after the tragic death of Born and Raised founder Chris Printup aka 'Spanto' on June 25th.
The new release date is September 28th. So we know when they're releasing but the bigger question is, where will they be releasing and how can you get a pair for retail in Europe?
The US release is taking place exclusively online on bornxraised.com on September 28th at 9PM CEST (Europe) with a retail price of €130. That means there won't be a release on the SNKRS app OR at skateshops (for North America). Born and Raised confirmed to that there will be shipping to Europe.
For those wondering about a SNKRS app release in Europe, that's most likely not going to happen, but we do expect the Born x Raised SB Dunks to drop at select skateshops across Europe in October. There are no confirmed details but we'll always have the info early in our free to join Stashed discord.
After Chris Printup's death, StockX removed the SB Dunk Low x Born x Raised Dunks from their website. It has been reinstated recently and has prices going for over €700.
With the almost unprecedented hype for a Nike SB Dunk, what are your odds of getting a pair for retail?
How many pairs are releasing?
We estimate around 35,000 pairs to be available for the Born x Raised SB Dunk. These stock numbers are an estimate based on similar Nike SB Dunk collabs and rumours.
Born x Raised x Nike SB Apparel
Besides the SB Dunk Low, there's also apparel dropping. This includes the Nike SB x Born x Raised Fleece Skate Crew in 'Pink Rise' and 'Dark Marina Blue'. The apparel is releasing online on September 28th on bornxraised.com along with the SB Dunk Low and also has US and EU shipping. We also expect the Born x Raised x Nike apparel to release at select skateshops in Europe early in October.
